Dog Trainer, Performer, Best Selling Author
Trainer Kyra Sundance and her
Weimaraner Chalcy are the most
recognized dog performers in the
country.

Their Stunt Dog Show has entertained
audiences worldwide at fairs, circuses,
schools, sporting event halftime shows
(NBA, AFL, MLB), and even a command
performance in Marrakech for the King
of Morocco. They've starred in 200
performances of Disney's Underdog movie stage show in Hollywood.
Television audiences have been amazed by performances on
The Ellen
DeGeneres Show, Entertainment Tonight, Best Damn Sports Show
Period, MTV, and The Tonight Show
where Jay Leno pronounced Chalcy
"The World's Smartest Dog!"

Complex routines, incredible teamwork, and obvious love for each other
are an inspiration to animal enthusiasts. High energy precision acrobatic
routines dominate most of their show, but audiences can also laugh as
they play the piano, tidy up toys, and roll on a barrel.

Kyra authored the best-selling
101 Dog Tricks training book, which has
become an industry standard in it's field.

Kyra and Chalcy spent years achieving expert rankings in the competitive
dog sports of obedience, agility, jumping, hunting, retrieving, mushing,
and versatility, and were ranked fourth in the nation in their class of
competitive obedience. They competed as part of the "Top Dog"
obedience team 2002-2004.

As dog trainer, Kyra's step-by-step approach has benefited countless
students as they rediscovered the joys of their dog. Kyra utilizes positive
training methods that emphasize bonding, collaboration, reward, and
instinctive dog communication styles.

Kyra and Chalcy live with Kyra's husband, Randy Banis, on a ranch in
the California desert of Mojave. Kyra is a marathon runner and gymnast.

Whether your dog is young or old, athletic or lazy, quick-witted or dumb
as a rock— he’s your dog and his success need only be measured in
your eyes.
